It's very pretty! I like the "solitude" feeling of it. Great job with the windblown hair and various textures. The little leaves here and there are a nice touch, too.

Beautiful... Now, THIS is what art's supposed to be. I can feel a sense of loneliness here as well as just being alone. (I do make a distinction.) The detail on this is amazing. The feeling in the eyes is wonderful. I love the texture the watercolor gives to the piece. Definitely makes her look furry.
Cheers and frosty cold one for a job well done!

There's a fine line between art and crap. That line lies within the viewer. The artist tries for art, but if all he achieves is crap, then he needs to try again.
Goodness Kat, this is beautiful! I love it! *sniffle* And to think I had a part in inspiring it. I'm so proud! Definitely a favorite!

Draw a picture. Paint on canvas. Throw a pot.
Then give it to someone randomly, just because. A smile is the greatest reward you can get for your art.
There is definitely a distinction between being alone and being lonely. I've been alone and been happy; I've also been in the midst of a crowd and felt isolated. Thanks for all of the kind words ^_^
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
